What Payment options do i have?

CIY accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate checks or money orders.

How does billing work?

The first month of a new month-to-month subscription is billed at the time of purchase, thereafter your card will be charged on the 21st of every month. If you choose the extended 3-month subscription, you will be charged the full subscription amount up front. After the subscription period of 3 months expires, your card will be charged again on the same day you originally subscribed. For example if you purchased the subscription on April 8th you would be charged again when the 3 month subscription renews on July 8th.

How do I update my credit card info?

You can update your credit card information via the account login portal at any time. Simply type in the email address used in your original subscription purchase and you will receive a link to your account where you can update your billing information.

how do i have my artwork featured on the website?

Simply post a picture with the hashtag #CIYBox to be featured on our Instagram page and website!

How is my box shipped?

CIY boxes are shipped via USPS, with the goal of arriving around the 1st of every month!

Where Do We Ship?

CIY is currently only able to serve customers in the United States and Canada. While our goal is to become a global supplier of craft projects, we are still currently working on international shipping partnerships and look forward to serving international customers soon!

When Will it ship?

Our target is to ship each box by the 25th of each month so they arrive at your door around the 1st. As much as we would love to meet you all, we cannot hand-deliver each box, and are at the mercy of postal carrier delays. We promise to diligently solve any shipping issues you may have.

How do i change my address?

We request that all address changes are made by the 20th of the month (at least 5 days ahead of shipping date). You can easily change your mailing address by logging in to your account here. Once logged into your account click on your address in the form and you can make the necessary changes.

What is a cutoff date?

CIY needs enough time to source materials and pack boxes, thus we have to cut off each month’s orders on the 20th of the month. If you place an order on April 10, your first box will arrive around May 1. If you place your order on April 21, your first box will arrive around June 1. Note, if you missed out on an exciting box, don’t fret! You can also purchase last month’s box while supplies last on our subscription page.

What is This Month's cutoff date?

The cutoff date to receive a July box is June 20th at 5:00pm EST. 

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel month-to-month subscriptions at any time via your account login. To cancel, visit “Billing” and under "Cancel Plan" select “Cancel.” Please note, cancellations must be requested before the 20th of the month prior. For example, if you cancel on January 23, you will still be billed for and receive your February box, but will not be billed for the March box.

What is your Refund Policy?

In many cases a subscriber will cancel their subscription in order to avoid future renewals, but still wish to receive the boxes they have already paid for. Due to these circumstances refunds are not automatically applied upon cancellation - they must be requested. 

If a refund is requested prior to the 20th of the previous month we will certainly be able to accommodate the request. In the case that a refund is requested after the 20th we unfortunately will not be able to apply it, given we would have already begun the process of preparing your box for shipment. Please note if you're asking for a refund because you didn't cancel your subscription through your account login in time, there will be a small 5% fee to process the refund. The fee is simply to help us cover the credit card processing payment that we pay on every purchase.
